Dr. Cohen is a Fellow of The American College of Preventive Medicine. He is Board-Certified by The American Board
of Preventive Medicine in the specialty of General Preventive Medicine and Public Health. He is also Board-Certified in Addiction Medicine and a Distinguished Fellow of the American Society on Addiction Medicine.
Dr. Cohen has focused his medical career on the prevention and reversal of disease.
He received his Master of Public Health degree from Johns
Hopkins University as he completed a Preventive Medicine residency at Hopkins. He went on to become the Chief Resident
of Preventive Medicine at Johns Hopkins, supervising other physicians in the largest non-governmental Preventive
Medicine program in the nation.
Dr. Cohen has published and made professional presentations about diabetes, chronic disease and premature death as well as weight-loss and recovery at local, regional, national and international scientific medical venues. He is a founder of the not-for-profit Foundation for Prevention.
